Best known as the founding bassist/songwriter of iconic rock group,The Ramones, Dee Dee Ramone was also a solo recording artist, author and prolific painter, often collaborating with artist Paul Kostabi.
The Ramones’ debut album, The Ramones (1976), is widely considered to be one of the “greatest rock albums of all time” (Rolling Stone).

Dee Dee’s last full album of recordings, “Greatest and Latest” (G&L) released in 2000, was originally released on the Conspiracy Music label and which has since became part of the Triple Pop.
G&L managed to capture Dee Dee in his own unique voice doing his version of The Ramones classic hits. Produced by Chris Spedding (who produced the first Sex Pistols demos) G&L remains a classic for fans.
In 2000, Greatest & Latest was released on compact disc in Europe on Eagle Rock Records and Toshiba-EMI in Japan.
The “Greatest & Latest” album will be re-released by Dee Dee’s estate in the coming years.
