Kacey Musgraves’ “Acoustic Remixed” digital EP now available

To commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the recordings, Triple Pop has today announced the release “Acoustic Remixed” by Kacey Musgraves.

The brand new EP features three (3) new remixed and mastered mixes of the recordings Kacey recorded for Triple Pop ten years ago on March 27, 2008.

There are two new versions of “Apologize” (Chill Remix & Republic Mix) and one new version of “See You Again” (Mood Remix).

We’ve enhanced the recordings with newly added synths, guitars, drums and strings and they sound absolutely amazing!

The first single, Apologize (Chill Remix) is already now available for download on iTunes for only $1.29.  Order the entire pre-sale EP for only $1.99.

We’re also pressing up a limited edition 12″ 33 1/3 RPM vinyl version with gatefold.  Limited to only 750 copies.  Manufactured in Texas USA.  The vinyl features the three (3) new mixes along with the two (2) original acoustic versions.

Whitney Mower (Iva Dawn) working on new album in 2014

Whitney guitarWHITNEY MOWER (aka Seed-at-Zero) is busy developing new songs for her second album project under the monikor “Iva Dawn.

The titles of original songs she has already recorded demos for include “The Only One,” “Another Man” and “Laugh Until I Cry.”

In the past few years, Whitney has been busy working on master’s degree and her second album project is going to be in a new direction.

Influenced by new artists such as Beach House, Grizzly Bear, Dirty Beaches and Lana Del Rey, and classic artists such as Roy Orbison and Patsy Cline, Whitney describes it as “arty dream pop/rock sound with a retro vibe.”

More news soon once we choose a producer and get her in the studio – with goal to release by fall 2014.  Whitney was the first musician who recorded for Triple Pop back in 2007.

Seed-at-Zero‘s six-track debut album is available on iTunes from Triple Pop.
