Dee Dee Ramone

Biography: Best known as the founding bassist/songwriter of iconic rock group, The Ramones, Dee Dee Ramone was also a solo recording artist, author and prolific painter, often collaborating with artist Paul Kostabi.

The Ramones’ debut album, The Ramones (1976), is widely considered to be one of the greatest albums of all time (Rolling Stone).  In 2002, Dee Dee Ramone was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.  For a complete bio on Allmusic, click here.

Dee Dee’s final full album, “Greatest and Latest” was originally released on the Conspiracy Music label, and which has since became part of the Triple Pop.
